Spring Planting

In addition to doing a major spring clean on our upstairs yesterday, we planted a vegetable garden - a big one. We are gardening "in community" with four other families on the back land of one of the families. It is a large garden (especially for us who have never had a garden) and has a large variety of veggies. We plan to can veggies together too - also a first for our family. I am excited because this is not something I would have the knowledge or time to do on my own, but with everyone helping it should be fruitful. :)
We sowed our seeds and then had a hot dog and s'more roast on a lovely crisp spring evening. It was the perfect weather for both.

Gayle,
came by to read your daybook and could not find your link. Perhaps you could add it to the Mister Linky if it did not take. All that is listed is your blog link and not your link to your post.

Thank you for taking part!
