The Plight of the Orphan

Mary at Owlhaven posted a letter here, from her sister who is working in a hospital in Ethiopia for the summer. I think it (and some of the comments below it) so aptly express the heart break over the plight of so many orphaned children in this world. One commenter quotes a stat that if 7% of Christians adopted just one child, we would eliminate the orphan population. If only each one could reach one!
