Two people commented on how I looked at church today...they said I looked "different," "wonderful," "glowing," that they "almost didn't recognize me."
Now, I ask you, what does this mean when I have not changed in my outward appearance in any way, shape or form? I may have gained a couple of pounds, but I hardly think that would change me so amazingly and certainly not in a positive way.
Is it the amazing chili I ate last night at Lisa's?
Is it the glow of new motherhood, the peace of knowing J is ours?
Is it the people I have been around lately? (Highly possible since these people are "different" and "glow" in their Jesus love.)
Is it the expectancy I feel of what the Lord will do next in my heart or in our relationship?
I have been thinking a lot lately about how the physical world or our physical bodies are such a picture of the spiritual realm. That the physical pain we bear and the physical joy we experience reflects our spiritual well-being or our spiritual, for lack of a better word, constipation. (Forgive me E, but it is so true!) I think of Moses who was in the very presence of God Almighty and to those around him, he appeared to physically glow. Make no mistake, to my knowledge there is no physical change in me, except that which might come from inside me.
I feel like the Father is saying, "See, I AM changing you and molding you, even if you don't see it yourself, even if you constantly second guess yourself, even if you listen to lies whispered telling you that you'll never change. I am changing you so much that people who don't even know you see ME in you and have to say something. I WILL have my way in you."

I remember the first day we met. So much growing and change (for both of us) in less than a decade's time. God has shaped our perspective on marriage and children radically for His glory. I'm glad we learned alot of it together! Remember the Me, Obey Him study?! I'll never forget that you and Geo were my only followers on that one. :)
Keep glowing sister!
