Our Sugar Maple written by Bookworm

Every autumn, the sugar maple in our front yard changes from a majestic emerald green to a breathtaking ruby red. In late October to early November, the leaves cascade down to ground as the tree whispers in the wind. The tree is admired by all who pass by and many people stop and pick up a leaf or two to take home. As the leaves drift to the ground, I treasure each one.
