We got a little squirrely and house-bound with the cold weather, and at one point I ordered Bookworm to get everyone dancing in the schoolroom. This is Bookworm leading my little ones plus one cousin in the cha-cha slide. :)

Bookworm promised the little cousins a tea party and came through eventually...

J and J: the cutie patooties in the house

DH reading Twas the Night Before Christmas to seven lambs on Christmas Eve

The cinnamon rolls that launched a thousand ships, or shall I say, HIPS. Find the recipe here. One word: AMAZING.

The girls sporting their adorable scarves knitted by Auntie L. (I'll post a pic of me in mine as soon as it gets cold enough again for me to wear it.)

Here is the beautiful, brined turkey that fell apart when I attempted to carve it - YUM.

And the spread in order: sweet potatoes, green beans with bacon, baked pineapple, homemade dressing, turkey, mashed potatoes, frozen cranberry salad. And not pictured were the butterhorn rolls, Dan's amazing homemade creamed corn, homemade cranberry sauce, "The" Holiday salad, pecan pie, caramel apple pie, pumpkin pie, Laura's dried fruit cake, and caramel dipped pretzels. Wow.

Laura set the table beautifully and I was able to use my red and white transferware for the first time.

The little lambs waiting for their food...

All in all it was a wonderfully blessed Christmas-if I come up with any other pics of it, I will post later.

Looks like you all had a great time! I love your table all set, it looks so pretty. Can I come next year? Your food looks and sounds so yummy!
Thank you again for hosting us. We were so blessed to be able to come stay with you. I am convinced being with family is the best gift of all.
God bless.
Auntie L :)
