Hopefully the news we received today that one of our background checks is expired will not completely throw a wrench in the works of our adoption. The social worker said that usually it takes about two weeks turn-around time for this, but that she would fax it instead of mailing it and hopefully we will get it back in time for our August 26th court date. Also there were two other missing forms that we need to turn in, and that we will do tomorrow. We know that this whole thing is in the Lord's hands and we are just along for the ride. HE is in control. Thank you, Jesus!
On a more cheerful note, my friend Leigh Anne came over tonight and took some pictures of J and got some really cute ones. J is so funny about just sitting still and looking at the camera. He is an especially laid back two year old little boy! So be looking for new pictures and an announcement soon - Lord willing! :)
