I left directly from the doctor's office Thursday to Dallas for my annual highschool girlfriends' get together. Thus, the belated update. Please forgive me for not updating sooner.
We took all three girls with us to the city, leaving J with Mama B and I was very thankful since we were in the doctor's office for about two hours. Dh went back to see the doctor with Bookworm while I waited with Lovey and Cheery and played endless games of I Spy and introduced them to The Price Is Right (an interesting educational day).
The doctor was not concerned about the "bits of pigment" that he saw in Bookworm's eyes. He said that it was kin to "irritated skin" and was not something that DH has or had in his eyes. Also he did not think it was something that could lead to retinal detachment. Praise the Lord! We are so thankful to not be going down that path, and praise God for His mercy. Bookworm received some cool pictures of the inside of her eye that she wants me to post, so if I can figure out scanning, I will try to oblige.
Now for me to return mentally from a chocolate cake, blueberry scone induced stupor. Do you think adding to the 30+ cups of tea I consumed over the weekend would help?
